Barn doors with glass panels can be used where traditional hinged interior doors create problems with swinging the door open or closed. Barn doors are especially useful for small rooms. Swinging a door into a small room becomes difficult when the door will hit furniture in the room.

Using barn doors is also useful when you need to create a visual barrier from one room to another.  The sandblasting adds to a decorative theme in a room.  In clear glass is is just decoration.  A barn door with frosted glass background creates additional theme designs but also creates the visual barrier needed for pantry doors.
