An Etched Logo is Durable
A logo can be designed to fit your commercial entry door. We can also do something creative for your business. Why not make entering your entry door to your business reflect the feel of your business?
We can create the design for you but it is easier if you have the cad file. Usually that would be a dwg file. If you don’t we need a digital representation that we can rebuild. The file type here would be jpeg usually. Black and white or line art is best.
If your commercial logo is text only, then please provide the text font style so you can have uniformity. There are thousands of font styles and it is extremely time consuming to try to match exactly. If you just do not have this information, then we will go with a close match for you. You also do need to realize that the best place to etch is the outside of the door not the inside. This will make it much easier to see the etched glass from the outside. If you are specifying an inside etch, then we would need to know beforehand because the letters and image would otherwise be reversed or seen backwards.
Glass Door Installation
Your local commercial glass company is the installer for this type of project. We etch the glass that is provided by the tradesmen in this industry. This would be the trade that is familiar with ordering aluminum framed commercial doors found on most retail type commercial entries. The glass is provided to me usually not installed in the frame. Sometime if the glass in the door is broken this would be the perfect time to order new tempered glass and get the logo etched onto the outside of the glass. This is called a glaziers licence. Hinged doors similar to the residential type are provided by people in the construction field and these are called prehung doors. Look for the tradesman that is familiar with the application you need.
