Alligator and Shark on your entry door? Of course!
When alligators and sharks are backyard visitors, you may be inclined to embrace this theme for your river waterfront home. My coastal customers are always looking to include their environment into their design themes.
This home is recovering from hurricane damage and opted for hurricane impact glass that will offer strength and privacy. They wanted to have a unique creative design that included alligator, shark, stingray and water. This is what I came up with from that request.
HURRICANE PROTECTION FOR YOUR GLASS DOOR
As Floridians, we all know the impact hurricanes have on our coastal areas. Many coastal residents are now changing to hurricane impact window and doors. Builders and building codes are influencing these choices. As a result, most of my exterior doors that I provide are hurricane impact approved. I also have HVHZ doors available for Miami Dade county. Most of Florida are using the Wind-Borne Debris door with impact glass inserts. Both options are available as well as standard inserts for the central non impact areas.
Also, the design choice does not influence the cost of the door. The only factors that determine cost is the glass choice, door size, and whether or not you are needing the Miami-Dade code mandate. So browse the design galleries, and choose any design you like.
Also any design can be adapted to an interior door. And those can have a clear background or a frosted background. Just let me know what you prefer
