Acid Etched Frosted Glass with an Etched Design
This acid etched frosted glass will hide your clutter and give you a decorative design with personal customization. Let me be clear though, acid etched background is best when your contents are no closer than 6-8 inches away from the glass. It is a soft background that allows a decorative design to showup on it as you can see from this post.
Walk in pantries, home offices, etc are great because the contents are always further away from the glass area. For reach in pantries, my suggestion is the enamelled glass. That etch technique is quite different in that removing the enamelling, is what gives you a contrasting design. You can see examples in the gallery under pantry and interior doors.
How does the etched glass design look with light behind it?
Some installations are in pantries or offices that have windows. So how does it look? Of course these images not of the installed door. What you are seeing is green glass outside. My workshop door is behind the glass door providing a light source.
